 Comments From the Grand Knight:

 Brother Knights:        

  Our Columbus Club continues to work diligently to better our Hall and make repairs where needed. Recently, they had the roof repaired on the Hall along with the attached building. They are looking at other potential projects which would include the painting of the Hall and ceiling tile replacements. We have continued to request volunteers for monitoring the Hall during the rentals and have not had many Members sign up. Please recall that we will have to implement a policy of contacting all Members for this service to spread the responsibility to all Members. There is great concern with Council property and we ask all to be good stewards of all of our furnishing. This is our Hall and we all want to see it persevere for as long as possible. We do want to thank Brother Jody McClain for accepting the position of Warden after the passing of our Worthy Warden Jack Owens. It is good to know that this transition was so quickly accepted and to know that we have so many quality Members. As it has been stated before we work together to promote our Fraternity and to make our Council strong and focused on our continued work for Charity. As men of faith we should continue to 'set-the-bar' for those around us and more importanly for our Families as Saint Joseph did for his Family. Please continue to pray the Rosary, to pray for all of our Brothers and their Families, for our Military (May they reign supreme for our Great Nation) and for the continued growth of our Council. Look at your Navigator for your council events as posted. We look forward to your support. 

       Remember 'Faternity' and 'Unity'.

     Also keep our military in your prayers.

   Who We Are

The Msgr. A. L. O'Connell Council #3700 of the Knights of Columbus was founded in September, 1953. It is named after Msgr. A. L. O'Connell, who was the original pastor of St.Pius V and also a charter member of the council. There are still 7 living charter members.  The Msgr. A. L. O'Connell Council #3700 of the Knights of Columbus works closely with the Parishes of  St. Pius V , St. Frances Cabrini  and St. Augustine and  providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish. etc.

 Council 3700 now has a new Seminarian to support on his road to Priesthood. Our new seminarian name is Edward Adams. Edward is presently enrolled at St. Mary's Seminary in Houston, TX. Let's Keep Edward in our prayers as he walks this path to Pristhood.
